The Main Benefit of a Tango simulation with a Knowledge Management Focus is that:
Participants will discover how to create a more profitable business by managing their knowledge in a more sytematic manner.

Process

As a facilitator you run Tango in the usual fashion until year 3. After the debrief for Year 3 you run the Power Point presentation KMTango 1.0. This prepares the participants for all the opportunities that exist in managing knowledge and the additional rules that apply in the simulation. You then run Year 4 and Year 5 with the additional rules applied.

Participants will:

• Gain a strategic view of what assets have to be managed and how they relate to each other and to bottom line.
• Form a deeper understanding of the three categories of intangible assets.
• Experience how proper management of knowledge creates a profitable business.
• Recognise when customers´ most valuable contribution to profits is knowledge, not money.
• Experience a shift of focus: from seeing people as costs items to seeing them as revenue generators.
• Discover the vital ingredient of building relationships as channels for knowledge transfer - and how they contribute to bottom line.
• Learn to use a management information system based on measuring knowledge and intangible assets.
• Form lasting relationships with each other during two intensive days of hard work.
