Test the beta version of a new support tool for Tango - the Tango Monitor! It is intended to be used by the teams during the simulation.  The Tango Monitor is a spreadsheet that produces the Annual Accounts, Tango Monitor Executive report, Strategic Positions, Competitive Analysis and Cash flow Budget. If they enter the data required they will also receive a "personal" Feedback from me.
I believe this is a necessary development and a quite exciting one at that. It introduces the computer, but it does not change the valuable face-to-face interaction, because it uses the number crunching power of the computer for supporting decisions. The Tango Monitor is built in the Excel spreadsheet 95/97 format that most have access to, so the start-up threshold should be quite low. 

One laptop with Excel 95/97 is required per team. The beta version is for team support only, there is no requirement to link all computers in the room.

The Tutorial is the TangoMonitor in Excel 95/97 pre-loaded with data from a real Tango session. It is intended for facilitators preparation. This zipfile extracts all the files required for playing the Global Tango scenario: Room Layout, Year end checklist, GlobalMarkets learner instruction, Global Image Pyramid, GlobalMonitor2.0. Checklists are in Word97 format. GlobalMonitor2.0 is in Excel 97/95 format.
